It´s a shame thar there never was a proper 4.0 Quad Mix to this album and the one from "Echoes" they culled out for the "Early Years" Set is simply a leftover und the condition of this source isn´t really all too good. So after all we can be sure there will never be an authentic one to derive from any existing source in the future. Why don´t they intend to do real new remixes of their classic works?
The authentic 4.0 Quad Mixes from their albums "Atom Heart Mother", "DSOTM" and "WYWH" do really make such an importance after so many years ed to the regular mixes, that everybody must be glad now that they are documented in the Box-Sets forever.
There are many things that fans may still desire but maybe some time still has to until we will be able to discover new mortal remains from our heroes of so many decades. Let´s hope for the best. I think some fans have heard about the "Animals"-Box which may be yet to come with new photos and recording material unused. Is there really something of high importance left in the vaults that may open our ears and will make us come together for their great music once again?
We will see.
