Edited one year agoI got a sealed copy with a store sticker that reads "gold" on it, yet i dont see a gold vinyl release on here. Probably a boot. But which one?

Edited 2 years agoGreat sound. Original from 2000 sounds better than later reissues, including the one from 2021. More dynamics and brighter. To my ears, the bass is also too pronounced on the 2021 reissue.

I found a surprisingly cheap copy of this LP on a local record store. The cover says it was pressed on 2000 but I cannot find any references to a green vinyl that was the one I got. Anybody knows anything about this? Do I have the original record?

I picked up this for $90 and it missed the inners. No typo or weird colored label so I guess it’s genuine. Sounds really good. Very much like the sound of late 90s. I’m keen to hear the re issue though.

Edited 3 years agoBeen listening to this original press after many years sitting on shelf...sounds great! The recent reissue is good but this one is louder, brighter and, to my ears, just better!

For those who have it, would be really interested what people think of the quality of the original pressing? Have just bought one and in quieter ages it is a bit of a crackle fest - after ZEROSTAT MILTY gun treatment and a clean. Reminded me of some of those thumbs down experiences from the 70's 80' when you bought your new record home. The vinyl acoustics are great though and if they give it the love it deserves, should be awesome on the official repress

Is there an easy way to differ the original from the bootleg? If I'm gonna pay over €100 for an album, I wanna be sure it's the original one... and ask for photos. So what do I ask the seller to take photos of?
