On the cover only, track A6 is incorrectly numbered as A5 and all tracks on side C are erroneously numbered C1 and on side D as D1.
For that reason a postcard is inserted in the sleeve saying:
"Dear WHAM! Fan
Our record company has drawn to our attention that the gatefold sleeve of the double vinyl album release of 'WHAM! The Singles - Echoes from the Edge of Heaven' features incorrectly numbered track listings for sides A, C and D, for which they apologise. The track titles and running order are correct. We were given the option to have the printed sleeves destroyed and reprinted at no cost to us, but at a time when we are all striving to consume less of the world's finite resources, we asked the label to put the erroneously numbered sleeves into circulation and to correct the numbering on future runs.

Also, the Side C label shows tracks C1-C3 are engineered by Tony Taverner, but the inner sleeve shows it would be Chris Porter.

Can somebody explain why A different corner is not there though it was included in their best compilation : The FINAL ?
So --> SONY/EPIC/COLUMBIA whatever you are calling yourselves now, please reissue the original compilation THE FINAL and stop those fake stuffs reissues. -
Just have to laugh at the "consuming less of the world's finite natural resources" blurb. I guess that's why there are, what, at least 4 separate versions of this release containing the same content? -
Cool compilation and great sound but on side d my copy has little defect with one track stuck on repeating -

One thing I become frustrated with with compilations such as these, is the inclusion of a Christmas song. I understand that Last Christmas is a massively popular track, but to slap it in the middle of something you may want to listen to all year round just spoils it for me. And to wind me up further still, it's on here twice! Lol!

Its also their miracle they dont list "Everything she wants" on the inner sleeve with the 7" covers and charts posiitons. -

My copy has slightly different Matrix /Runouts everything else is the same just wondering why this is if anybody knows?

I'm really not a fan of 80's mastering generally, they just always killed any low frequencies. This doesn't sound great even ing for that, it's a pretty lacklustre master, not any decent high res source. It's nice to have all the hits together, but the original copies blow this out of the water in SQ
