Notes

Track A4 is listed on the sleeve as Galaxies IV 'Don't Lose Your Mind'. In fact the original b-side of the single is actually on the record: 'Piccadilly Circus'.... listed correctly on the A side label of the record itself.
Tracks A5 to A7 are listed in the wrong order on the sleeve and A side label.
Track A6 wrongly credited 'Therion' as composer.
Track B1 wrongly credited 'Aardvarks' as composers
Track B2 wrongly credited 'Ganz-Schnell' as composers
Track B3 wrongly credited 'Modds' as composers
Track B6 wrongly credited 'Therion' as composer

Often seen as the volume marking the slide into mediocrity for the Pebbles series, this compilation still has great moments. The Leather Boy shows up with three outstanding tracks of bubblegum psychedelia, The Modds outdo Green Fuz with the minimally produced Leave My House and Von Ruden covers the original R Stones B-side of Satisfaction Spider & The Fly with a really wigged-out n' sleazy flower-damaged version. The Aardvarks and The Barking Spyders are similarly tremendous raw and rough-edged diamonds.
This LP would be even better if The Galaxies IV 'Don't Lose Your Mind' was actually on the thing as d. In fact - if you look at the record label it says 'Piccadilly Circus' which is the correct track - an instrumental in a R Stones 2120 S Michigan Ave vein (and the original b-side of the 45). If you want to hear 'Don't Lose Your Mind' which is one of the ultimate representations of Sunset Strip bubblegum psychedelia then get hold of Turds On a Bum Ride vol.2 or Glimpses vol. 2.
