All but perhaps two of the tracks on this LP that I've been able to compare to different sources runs 4-5% (about a semitone) fast. I'm guessing, especially given the not very detailed sound, that they were mastered off cassettes - in my experience cassette players vary by a few per cent in speed, which is fine until you play a cassette recorded on a machine that runs slow on one that runs at the correct speed, or faster. The LP of volume 1 is similar, though perhaps with more tracks at the correct speed; the CD version seems to have been corrected but I don't have the CD version of this one.

The follow-up of the groundbreaking Pebbels Vol.1 by Greg Shaw. The Liner notes by some (fictive) rock critic called "A. Seltzer" starts with: "So you bought this album, well y`know I don`t care cuz yer all MORONS anyway....". This record contains some well known Garage classics like "The Moving Sidewalks - 99th Floor", "The Lyrics - So What!", "The Zakary Thaks - Bad Girl", "Randy Alvey & The Green Fuzz - Green Fuzz", "The Little Boy Blues - I Can Only Give You Everything" & "The Choir - It`s Cold Outside". But actually there`s no bad tune on it, side B starts a little more relaxed, but ends with "The Litter - I`m A Man", which is one of the nastiest Garage Punkers ever!
