Awful. Bought it brand new at a local record store & sounded great when it wasn't skipping, which was on every track but Quiche Lorraine & Strobelight. Don't know how common this issue is but it was unlistenable -
Edited 2 years agoMy copy has a slight warp as well, but honestly it doesn't distract as much as some other modern releases. The sound is phénoménal ! -
Had to return my copy, total dud. Carefully removed from the inner sleeve, cleaned off the factory filth, and then noticed the vinyl appeared unusually wavy when it caught the light. Put it on and while the mastering sounded phenomenal, soon the skips began. Manually moved the tone arm ahead and before long a locked groove.
I’d still like a copy but hesitant to try again. Anyone else have issues? -
Same matrices as the red wax so must be the same but my copy was wafer-thin and shrink-wrapped to within an inch of its life so that it's effectively unplayable due to the warping.
