I’m curious as to who entered the comments on this release. I weighed my copy and it was over 190 grams. Also, the labels are consistent with a late 1960s reissue, not the original labels in 1959 when this record was first released. At any rate, this record is nothing less than amazing and is a great place to start your journey into free jazz and the artistry of Ornette Coleman. All of the players are given adequate opportunity to shine on this album. The interplay between the cornet and sax is beautiful and Haden and Higgins do very well to and accompany them. This is an essential jazz record for your collection. This is a well done reissue that is highly recommended.

**Lonley Woman - discordant from the start baseline adds to tension. Track feels like it is "searching" to me. *Eventually - rapid runs fast and aggressive - bebop. *Peace - cool jazz feel I love it when the playing turns extremely delicate in Cherry's solo. **Focus On Sanity - shocks then gets quiet with a solo base line then builds from there. Congeniality - fairly straight forward *Chronology twisty sax solo over straight rhythm.

Charlie Hanson's bass playing is on of my favorite elements if this album.
