This was a grail of mine, but somewhat dismayed this suffers from pops and crackles on my copy... laying the blame squarely on Iam8bit for this, it's standard for them, IMO. Don't get me wrong, it's mostly enjoyable and powerful, but quiet moments (for which this game has many) you're tuning into noise more than nuance.

Okay okay. I think this record is a good disc. Alas, it cracks a lot, and even when cleared with antistatic brush and all, it still has lot of pops. I'll try deep-cleaning it with a record washing machine. But for now, I can't say this is an amazing pressing. (played with Ortofon Bronze).

As much as I love this soundtrack my one critique on this release would be the high frequency response in general gets raspy. I attribute it to the shear amount of music they packed onto the vinyl. I would have rather they curated a selection of the highlights that left room for the grooves to breathe.

I agree on the overall good quality, that some of the previous statements mentionned. Very interesting ambiant sound experience. All sides played flawless on my copy. And So did The Blind Forest. But it is this kind of music, that even a slight crackle is noticeable.

Just like Ori and The Blind Forest, this just crackles all the way through. Cleaning it did nothing. Shame,

Some few and minor crackles and pops, but overall very good, in my opinion. Iam8bit also replaced a faulty copy with a huge scuff on side D without any discussion and very quickly, thank you for that!

There is a little high freq distortion but it is still totally listenable. I don't agree with the other review here saying both this and the repress are unlistenable. The quality of the work from Gareth Coker stands up the imperfections of this pressing.
