I have what I'm told is new copy and I got one noticeable skip on Dress sadly. The rest sounds great!!
-
Sounds good and punchy when the full band lets it rip, but quite a bit of surface noise that's obvious on quieter ages even after thorough cleaning.
Not a deal breaker but definitely could be better. I'm still happy to hear it on vinyl -
So this is probably the most badly warped new record I've ever experienced and I've been doing this a while. I noticed as soon as I dropped the stylus that something was off. Skipping and jumping all over the place on the first track. Wow, some poor quality control here. What a shame.

I bought this although I have an original pressing...I saw it for 20 quid couldn't resist as its a fantastic album.
My analysis is that it is worth every penny.....the og press is more punchey and has some more clarity but I'm just an ordinary middle aged bloke not one of those audiophile nuts. If you can afford the og press well go for it but for the price of a few cans and a bag of chips get this. -

No qualms here! My pressing sounds great here. Flat and quiet for the most part, no skips. The remaster definitely does the album justice.

Surprised at some of these reviews. My copy is PERFECT - has no warp, no superfluous noise, and no skips. Sounds deep and rich, every note crystal clear. Seems like a lot of problems were had by people who bought their copy online / via Amazon, whereas I bought mine in person at a local store. Not sure if that s for the difference or not, but a lot can happen when things are getting mass packed and shipped.

Don't normally do this, but here's my experience. I bought one of Discogs. Looked good, great packaging, wasn't damaged in shipping, clean as all get out. Not 180g. I put it on and there's skipping and jumping on a few songs. Returned to pop market, they sent me a replacement.
Bought a UK version on Amazon. Not 180g. No damage in shipping. Skipping and jumping in the same songs, but either more frequently or less frequently. Sent it back for refund.
Received replacement from pop market. 180g. This one isn't as flimsy as the other two. Again, great packaging, no shipping damage. No skipping or jumping anywhere. I don't know why there's such a discrepancy. I mean the the first copy and the second were etched with different cut studios. Thankfully it worked out.
Big ups to pop market for their great customer service! It was my first time having to go through this and they were great at being helpful and quick. Much confidence in them. -
