Too Pure

Too Pure was a London-based independent record label formed in 1990 by Richard Roberts and Paul Cox. The label gained prominence after the release of PJ Harvey's debut album Dry in 1992 whose g was partially funded thanks to Ivo Watts-Russell investing in the label.
Too Pure then became majority owned by the Beggars Group. In April 2008, 4AD label. Too Pure A&R Jason White also moved to 4AD.
The label issued monthly 7" singles in a subscription service called the Too Pure Singles Club up until December 2017 after which it closed its doors.
Its catalogue is part of Beggars Arkive.
