Another strong outing from Hancock. This time he has replace Freddie Hubbard with Donald Byrd with whom he made his debut in '61 on Royal Flush. The album is the first released to feature drummer Tony Williams who would Hancock a couple of month's later as part of Miles Davis' second Quintet on Seven Steps to Heaven. I particularly like Blind man Blind man featuring Grant Green on guitar.
