I think it is a really good remaster and pressing. The disc is very well quality, extreme quite, absolut No surface noise, No clicks or pops. Very nice gatefold cover, the sound of mastering and pressing is nice. No shhhh or sibilance. Worth the money, u got u pay for. -

haven't find any comments about the sleeve
here's a curious fact - on the sleeve, side with the lyrics, is a mistake. the name of a song "sister of night" is written AFTER the words from first verse, like it were the last line in lyrics for "useless".
is it a common mistake on vinyl "Ultra"? -
Considering the long runtime of almost an hour, this reissue sounds great and there is only a very small amount of noise. Beautiful matte gatefold sleeve as well. Overall I'm very happy with this record! One of DM's masterpieces! -
Edited 2 years agoI think this pressing is very good, especially squeezing 60min onto a single disc--very clean, clear and dynamic.
Yes, I would love a 2 x LP release, but this one doesn't disappoint. The cover and printing are very high quality with an 'ultra'-matte finish that has an odd rubbery texture. Overall very happy with this release and very happy to add it to my collection.
Always found the 2016 European vinyl pressings of DM to be excellent; the US-made ones I've found shoddy. -
Considering it's 60 minutes of music on a single disc, this one sounds exceptionally good. Maybe slightly bass shy, but that's it. Just turn it up a little louder. It's very likely a DMM cut, the runout matrix isn't etched very deeply in a dot-matrix like style (unlikely with lacquer). It does make sense considering the running time.

I have gone through 2 copies and both are plagued with surface noise (pops/ticks) throughout a majority of both sides. My second copy seems to be a little better but is still disappointing to get records with these issues. There’s no amount of cleaning or playing that will magically repair it. The overall sound quality is excellent (5/5) so if you get a clean sounding copy count yourself lucky.
Hopefully a quality 2-LP repress will happen someday as there’s over 30 minutes on side A. Wishful thinking I’m sure.
