Why did I get the munchies after listening to this?

This is the ultimate way to experience this album. The Third Man master is the best, but the vinyl is pressed way too quietly and with too much noise. This CD on a good system is the apex.

Still under $30 for the new vinyl on the web.

Great quiet pressing, needs a bit of volume to get most out of it.

Some cheeky buggers out there trying to flip this for silly money. You can still get it from HMV for £27.99 w/ free postage. Don’t feed the flippers. Let ‘em starve!

At first I was surprised and disappointed that the pressing was so quiet in of volume, but the bass rumblings and crispenss of the cymbals brought me in a few moments later. Very few clics that don't bother me at all and just adds to the character. : it's vinyl folks. But my copy has the labels off centered, so it that's your case two: watch for your stylus!

I'm currently listening to the first side for the second time at a quite decent volume level and my internal organs are being massaged in the deepest way.

I'd also like to share that I've always found it difficult to listen to the whole original recording in one sitting/continuous track. I generally don't like songs or music pieces split sin different sides, but the format of this one (Tte transitions between are done in the smoothest manner) has helped me digging this album more than before, and enabled me to dive deeper into it and appreciate much more its sonics, construction and sections. Hats of to Billy Anderson, btw.

So I guess it all depends on your listening preferences. If you want the whole uninterrupted experience for you bong exploitation, there are plenty of sources to do that.

I paid 20 euros for it new and still in shrink (you heard that right), so all in all I'm a happy weedian right now.

massive clicks - especially on C1 at the beginning - not visually visible, but terrible - pro clean - not better

Put your vol. to 1o'clock, smoke some and sit back because this is an amazing pressing. If you got a bunk rekkid that's a shame but I only paid $50 for this and feel like i won the lotto. \m/
