Reviews

I bought this before I came here and based on the reviews was expecting a pile of broken glass. So, the disc had a slight warp and some superficial scuffing, not ideal for a brand new album. But the important part is that it sounds great. I didn't experience any of the noise or popping or any other anomalies, and in fact it's a great sounding pressing, for me anyways.

Crackly out of the sleeve, even after a clean, which improved it a bit..
I can only think its the crappy inner sleev that causes this.. Is it so hard to polyline an inner these days ffs?!
€30 for a crackly lp...
I compared it to my copy of ten years after stonedhenge, which is nearly 55 years old, in good nick, sounded great... Annoying as hell this -
All my ATW from New West Records are crappy, one of the worst label record. Lots of cracks and pops, lit’s a shame because ATW is a great band and deserve better pressings.
-
My black copy is pretty free of clicks and pops. So not all pressings are bad. The mastering could be better though…
-
Pretty bad press to be honest...
Like other people said, alot of cracks :(
I first taught it was dirt on my needle or vinyl, but it was all clean.
Disappointed too! -

Edited 4 years agoSame here. Like clackbee has mentioned....First three minutes plays with very nasty crack sound on each turn. Also there are overall little scratches on my LP on both sides. There even is a little dent on the B Side. Very bad Vinyl and overall it sounds flat. However, the Sound on Side B is much better.

Edited 5 years agoI got a bad pressing mostly with similar issues others have commented here. So, low quality factory copies seems to exist.
A-side being more worse. First three minutes plays with very nasty crack sound on each turn (no visible traces or scratches on the surface). A-side is off the center and whole vinyl slightly warped. Sound is flat through the album.
Music in this album itself is great. MP3 is included, although that can not be compared to the feeling when playing music directly from vinyl.
Cover and inner sleeve are excellent quality though. -
