No surface noise here, only the from the lead guitar. This is a much more heavy and progressive sound than their previous albums. I have the black vinyl and its clean and free of pops. I recommend cleaning or changing your needle, or giving the vinyl a good cleaning .

really dunno wich version i got..? its definitly 180 and gatefold but mine is neither white nor black. its kind of deep crimson or burgundy with subtle red/orange/blu splatter. (NW5117/607396511716) some ideas??

I have some surface noise throughout on this one, even though it was brand new. It's quite annoying as it's quite a low-key, quiet album. The mastering is very good. In places it sounds a bit low fi, but that's intentional. The album is killer.
