My copy also doesn't have numbering. Just the blank squares, same as the picture of the back cover on the page. -
This is one of my favorite records and these comments suck for such a great album. I don't think these were probably recorded with the biggest budget but the music is the opposite of unlistenable as a previous reviewer would suggest. I sincerely feel sorry for people that can't enjoy a record that is so catchy, textured and downright cool because of a little sibilance, which honestly isn't noticeable at all to me. It's probably good that those people leave comments for others that are highly sensitive to these things, but as the ratings suggest I would guess that is a serious minority. I mainly just didn't want the previous comment to scare people off because while this wasn't recorded by George Martin at Abbey Road, I'd still rather listen to this than any Beatles album 99% of the time. I have a pretty respectably sized record collection and this one is probably in my top 5 in sheer amount of plays.

Edited 8 years agoplays with a ton of sibilance. thought it was unique to the record but it's actually there on the files from minimal wave. maybe the original sources were in poor shape or they botched the remaster. either way, the distortion is really noticeable on the vinyl. disappointing.
