There are two masterings of this album. The 1st is by Doug Sax. The 2nd is the remastered version by David Donnelly. Both versions vary greatly. David Donnelly's has more emphasis on the piano, where as Doug Sax emphasizes the three instruments in a more egaliterian way. Purchase either the earlier CD's or Vinyl if you like Sax's approach, and the 2003 CD if you prefer Donnelly's approach. The Donnelly CD has bonus tracks that the original album lacks. This is a great final album from a great jazz pianist, who communicated so well in Trio groups.
