I compared this US 69 to my UK 69 and there is a significant difference in sound. The UK one is quieter, has better instrument separation and the percussion is felt. The US 69 one is around 10-15% louder, but its more obvious in Talk To The Wind. The guitars are fuzzy compared to the UK one. Yes the UK one wins but its not really worth the price of ission over the American one unless you're a die hard fan(like myself).

Wow just scored a VG+ copy at my local record store for way less than I should have! It just happens to have two "Side Two" labels. Anyone else have that issue with this pressing? This pressing sounds absolutely alive, compared to the recent reissue. The coloring on the cover it so vibrant it looks like a real painting, and you can really see the small imperfections from the silkscreen printing process. Definitely pick this up

I bought this LP to keep my igloo warm during the long and cold Alaskan winters. I keep it inside my mummy bag with my mittens in the gatefold.
