Edited one year agoNot a huge fan of the sound of this record at all. The cymbals are right in front in the mix, so it's hard to even hear what's going on musically. It steals the show when it should be next to everyone else in the mix. Not to mention the lack of low end, which is disappointing. The packaging is respectable. The poster, inner sleeve, and record jacket are good quality. Love this album, but can't say the same about this pressing. -
I dunno what this guy is complaining about!! I bought vile on cd back when it first came out in 1996, & this pressing sounds just as good as the cd, his setup must suck! Anyways... this is a great pressing on 180G. The sound is great & it comes with a bonus 2 sided poster, one side has the cover art for vile and the other side has a huge bone fetus from butchered at birth, fans of Vile will love this pressing go ahead and scoop one up! \m/ By far the best "Corpsegrinder" era Cannibal album yet! -

3984-14204-1 (2016) LP is secretly remastered (loudness, deaf) while the 1996 CD isn't.
