Brilliant pressing, Great 2nd album...Not much if any surface noise to talk about despite it being white vinyl, Running a Rega Planar three with a Ortofon 2m black Stylus and got a slight bit of distortion on that final track on side 2, cleaned the needle off and played it again without issue.
So it seems a similar issue to that which effects London Grammar's 1st Album, the pressing is a bit too hot (nowhere near the levels of London Grammar though) if you don't have a good quality well set up stylus you might struggle with these modern pressings with punchy female vocals.
I major thing also (often overlooked), keep that vinyl and that needle totally free from dust, even a tiny amount that you might not be able to see will cause distortion on these types of loud pressings.. -
Sounds phenomenal. No surface sound whatsoever, except for the last song on side 2 - it sounds a bit distorted. Unfortunately I also made a very small scratch which plays for 30 seconds at the end of the first track on the first side. Oh well.

Last track side 2 Afterglow is quite distorted. Is it the pressing as I don't hear that on the digital version. Could be inner groove distortion and my turntables inability to track it? (Gyrodec, techno arm, ortofon 2m black )
