It's not "terrible", I guess, but it absolutely pales in comparison to any of the previous 80's pressings. For some reason, the drums have been dialed way down into the mix compared to previous masters. To my ears, this is glaringly obvious and it just doesn't sound the same or have nearly the same "punch". I bought this as a play copy and I almost regret the decision. I do get that those earlier pressings have become quite cost prohibitive, though.

Bathory's finest album in my opinion. It sounds excellent this pressing. It's 180G black vinyl and it comes with an insert with the lyrics and album credits on it.
