A sublime record albeit i only deduced this after a few listens because its challenging in spots and simply beautiful in others.
Compared to the CD and played via my newly equipped AT Microline VM95 which im finding very neutral and clean this pressing indeed has a richness in the bass and lower mids that the CD cant match and while it could be abit heaby on some setups i find its just right for me. It makes the recording sound deeper, more harmomically satisfying and thus it comes more to life. The pressings arent perfect but are mostly excellent and theres no major nasties. One or two tracks had some minor fill noises but nothing severe and its mostly very clean and quiet given a wash (printed inners dont help!)
The jacket is really solid and of course having a CD copy included is nice but its the vinyl i will goto each time!! -
