I don't know how many of these they released, but it wasn't many. A&B had absolutely no idea of how popular their acoustic sets would be and so didn't prepare for it at all, just look at the success of Acoustic II. I'm a proud owner of a copy and it sounds typically flawless for an Anjuna release. Annie Drury was a superb find to portray this mood, buttery smooth vocals with similarly sliding and flowing rythms of jazz, big band, orchestral, and bluesy notes. Alex Vargas's voice is extremly powerful given that if you watch the film, he never looks like he's straining at all. Zoe Johnston is a staple on any A&B record and without her, it wouldn't make sense, she has such a unique voice. This album is amazing in it's translation of an EDM staple into wonderfully deep musical pieces, A&B should be recognised for their skills as true musicians in every sense, not just worldwide DJ's. -
The original release is now unavailable, but Above and Beyond have released a second print of this amazing downtempo collection of their hits. No need to pay 250 dollars for this vinyl. Go to Anjunabeats and get a copy before they run out again. (Available April 2018) -
For anyone interested, as of 19 June 2016, Anjunastore.com just restocked the vinyl LP of this, I believe just a repress.
