I understand the Shout Rio mix is by Daniel Miller himself? I mean the man is a genius; everything his label has done to various artists, to let them experiment and evolve. For example, look at the career spans of Erasure and Laibach; no other label would have had that continuity with the artist. A major label would have dropped them after a few disappointing sales. I have always loved MUTE as a label.

In the 1980s Shout was played @33+ rpm instead of 45 by DJ Daniele Baldelli and others.
Baldelli took up a residency at Discoteca Cosmic, a nightclub at Lake Garda, and rose to stardom with his experimental mixing style. He combined an extremely diverse range of genres, from European electronica to reggae, synth pop to African folk, often played at improper speeds and mixed with effects and drum machines.

Wow, art looks like Black Sabbath's *Born Again*, even the titles have something in common.

          Shout! (Rio Mix)...
Hard pounding Industrial Techno way before the term was even coined!
Listen to the track 3:27 into the track determines this..
I wonder if Richard D James was influenced by this track for his TTQ/QTT remix some years later for The Mover?
Two equally stomping tunes but wish Depeche Mode had made an Instrumental version of Shout!
