Notes
1-2 and 2-2 are the same versions.
2-1 is the edit that appears on BlueMonday-95 UK CD single #850041.2, missing the first 7 beats (nearly 2 bars) of the original 12" version.
2-4 is actually the 6:52 12" version named as 'Beach Buggy' (usual b-side of the Blue Monday 88 singles), remixed by Michael Johnson, not the main 'Blue Monday 88' version by Potoker as stated on Disc 2 and its fine print.

Edited 10 months agoClue’s in the title with this one - ‘the rest’ ie ‘all the other sh*t’
… always liked the perfecto remix of world - it could be a perfecto remix of anything else from this era, but a nice intro then plinky plonk Balearicism
… not enamoured by the ‘80s club production by Shep Pettibone of True Faith. It’s out of whack with the 90’s stuff (whether it’s a classic or not I couldn’t tell you) and this is the problem - it’s a lot of leftovers thrown together - and it feels like it
A lot of the remixes here feel like producers half arsed tinkering in the studio and then sticking Bernard Sumner over the top
Certainly wouldn’t spend 70 notes on the LP … just pick up the singles you like individually, and jettison the rest

1-5 Touched By The Hand Of God (Biff & Memphis Remix) contains a sample of DIVINE's Native Love.
"Dance, Rock, Feel The Heat" -
Can't agree with the negative reviews here. I picked this comp up all the way back in 1995. Introduced me to so many now-legendary dance producers. Every mix has something to offer, the spacey balearism of World (Perfecto Mix) or the relentless acid thumps of Hardfloor and Pump s' mixes, or the funky melodicism of Fluke's mix of Spooky... this is a great compilation and still sounds absolutely relevant and timeless today. This and the Wipeout compilation formed a great deal of listening time for me in '95 and I look upon them both fondly. Highly recommended!
