Two of the matrix variations are identical, 2 and 14. I have a copy of the missing variation which is SRC +02 M2 S10. So one should be updated.

Sometimes I get the urge to hold myself back from crapping on my favorite bands. I am gonna stop that. Don't go into this album expecting a classic Rush album, you won't get anything close to that. As others have said, the production is rather thin, turn the bass up a little and it's not awful. It's really the song writing that sucks. Just boring and uninspired AOR type music. There's definitely some solid bass licks laid down by Geddy on here and some solid grooves between him and Neil. Maybe Alex was left out with production style or couldn't come up with a lot of stuff cuz his guitar feels so forgettable on this record. I do like the opening track, which is a little bit corny and the most memorable track on the album. There's some more decent tracks in the first half but it really dies around the middle. So many cheesy sounds and song writing that sounds like rush trying to channel u2.
I get why someone would enjoy this if they grew up with the album, which I did not, or if they just love to hear any rush music. This period of Rush just doesn't do anything for me. I can't understand how this or "Counterparts" have above a 4.0 rating on here. I do love the bunnies on the cover tho- very cute.
