Edited 2 years agoCompared the US version to the UK and German pressings and most definitely the US original pressing wins in of stronger bass, higher (but not overly bright) detail resolution. And it sounds fuller, livelier, meatier and very precise at the same time. The soundstage is impressively wide, the vinyl itself is of very high quality and is dead quiet. One of the best-sounding records I’ve heard and the one original pressing of Violator to get, no more search needed. Engrossing listening experience on all possible levels.

Shocked at how good this sounds. Don’t know how it compares to the UK pressing, but this sound big, dynamic and detailed. It’s high quality pressing, just get a copy that’s been taken care of. Not only one of my favorite albums, but one of my favorite records in my collection. -
