-
My the most favorite album of Keith Jarrett. The first track is so powerfully emotional, with intense build-ups that resolve in an absolutely different story each time. Those resolutions masterfully draw in my imagination a complete story, full of struggle (between men and with the nature), glory, sorrow, and inevitable death. It is hard for a composition to divorce my mind from musical analysis, but this track does it with a great ease.

This one is unusual in that it is one long improvised piece accompanied by the excellent tune titled 'The Wind' and the Jarrett ends the show, well the LP in any case with some 'Blues' which lightens up the seriousness of the main track which can be at times fragmented and diffuse.
