Reviews

I like Todd Rundgren, but this is pretty bad; other than a few songs, album is engineered noice. Read that it was his 5th album; shocked me, I thought it was his demo.

More classic era TR. You get advanced (for 1974) studio trickery, proto-synth pop, full band excursions that sound like Mahogany Rush, full band excursions that lampoon metal, Todd Ballads that continue to owe a huge debt to Laura Nyro and Smokey Robinson, and a partially sabotaged single. Some synth/drum machine tracks would sit well on Kraftwerk's contemporaneous Autobahn. Added benefit: seeing Sterling and RL in the matrix.
