Completely blown away by this pressing. Cut very loud! I mean, really hot! Sound is phenomenal, wide soundstage, solid low end and the solos from John, Jerry and Jan are all crystal clear and slice through the cacophony laid down by Rick and Billy. Unfortunately, my copy is Mint, besides a recurring tick for the first 30 secs that disappears when the music starts. This LP is a scorcher!

A very fine live album. This pressing is wonderful… hot and full of dynamics! The quad version is great as well…A reissue of the whole concert that is done right is deserved!

I know little about the group headed up by John McLaughlin...They formed in early 70's and released albums until 1975...What were they? Jazz, Fusion, or ? Some even think of them as an iconic ROCK group...I like much of electronic stuff but i find their sonic work not in my audio wheelhouse...Kinda like Miles Davis...to each their own and THAT is why YOU collect the LP's and music style YOU dig...Dig?
