Separation and soundstage is good. Dynamic is there. Slightly leaning to thin sounding, but not as bad as most Japanese pressings.

My copy sounds amazing. It's the most 80's sound FM album in their catalog and that's not a bad thing. Lindsay did amazing production on this one. -
Can someone please explain why most all these comments are not referring to the Allied pressing from 1987? Please leave your comments in the right place you newbs! Find your correct pressing and leave your comment there! Let’s try to keep things in order here in Discogs! -

The skipping was awful - it took me purchasing 5 different copies from all over the world to finally get one that does not skip (despite all of them appearing flawless). Assuming bad batch of manufactured records. -
The skipping could be due to the DMM-Direct Metal Mastering. This means the grooves are very shallow.

after fitting a new stylus the skips have disappeared on one of my two copies , almost none of my records skip using an old stylus but this album seems very sensitive to anything less than a near new stylus .
