Edited 13 days agoI was also hesitant to buy another copy of this records. But this bests the MOFI in the oh so important highs and bests the DMM in instrument separation and soundstage. A little weak in the mids but the tradeoff is worth it. This is the definitive version.

#405. I was VERY hesitant to love this considering I was already very happy with my MOFI.
At first listen I was disappointed. It didn’t seem to be the revelation I expected from one of my all time favorite albums done at half speed at 45 RPM. But with each listen it peeled back layers and it’s now my go to!
I’ll still keep my MOFI for party scenarios that would benefit from a single LP but I’m very happy to have this! -
Sounds unbelievable. Dead flat and quiet vinyl. The instruments have great separation and jump off the vinyl.

Awesome, for me it’s cut a little low, but once you turn it up, really comes alive. Better than my Mofi. Just better separation overall. Disc 2 has two songs per side. Lots of space :)

punchy, loud, amazing press. sounds the way it should be; crunchy guitar, booming bass, clear drums, and clear vocals. a proper remaster, totally amazing sounding on vinyl.
my only problem is that the sleeve allows for no space in a plastic sleeve due to it’s cardboard thickness. thank god they include anti static sleeves though, the LP’s came clean. -
Sounds exactly like it should. Loud, punchy, great drums. Breathes new life into an album in a way I didn't think possible.

No idea what yall are hearing in this.
Mediocre, underwhelming pressing.
Put the quiet bit of Surf Wax America on and it’s immediately clear how basic this pressing is.
