Heard such bad things about the repress that I had to seek out an original. Boy am I glad I did. This pressing absolutely thunders out of the speakers with incredible clarity and punch. One of the most underrated Spiritualized records and this is the way to hear it. -

This will be the 4th and final release in the Spacemen reissue program, and will be reissued early 2022. -
I notice the Plain reissue of this record getting a lot of bad press, I saw a copy in a shop not long ago and the cover looked like a bad photocopy of the original. Absolutely abysmal and extremely overpriced too (close to £40, it was). How does this outfit continue to operate ? On another note, I bought the limited CD upon release and enclosed was one of the ubiquitous mailing list cards offering a copy of the LP's lyrics upon return of the card. I duly returned it and never received any lyrics (booklet presumably) in the post. Anyone out there ever received one ? -
This album is among the Top 3 essential Spiritualized albums, next to 'Lazer Guided Melodies' and 'Ladies & Gentlemen..', 'Let It Come Down' is a masterwork, and this pressing sounds of sonic brilliance! Get an original first pressing if you can find one (better than Plain Recordings reissues). Every track on this record is a gem in my opinion. Definitely recommend obtaining this album if you don't have it in your collection yet!
