The limited-edition 180-gram LP edition includes an extensive insert with rare photographs, newly commissioned liner notes, plus interviews and testimonials from musicians who were inspired by and knew and played with Chet Baker and Jack Sheldon.

My pressing is perfect. It's a great album. Really, stuff like this is what RSD is all about. #1845/4000 -
Edited 11 months agoMeh. Sounds really dated. And as a huge fan of both artists - this is the reason I don't buy these sort of releases but was intrigued by this because I love Jack Sheldon. There's so much better stuff out there. -
I own most of Chet's records and can confirm that this release is really exciting and belongs among the best of his immense number of recordings. Great recording and really enjoyable songs. Really happy to find a copy. -
Great recording pressed poorly. The vinyl has sharp edges and has crackle in a few places on side one. Must have been pressed at GZVinyl. Side two is ok. Still, the artists shine through. A real gem to listen to.

Excellent pressing with no clear issues. SQ overall not as great as I would expect for the time frame, but it is still quite enjoyable. Maybe the original recording was just not so great? But any Chet is good Chet, and this is no exception! -

Very clean pressing and wonderful mastering. The playing is just fun and it totally envelopes you in the music. My copy 2504/4000 had definite mild surface noise - needle scratch- but way better than most recordings now days. -
Edited one year agoWhat a great mixture of both the playing and singing of Chet and Jack Sheldon. Jack's voice is supurb in this performance. The contrasts alone in styles make this a great listen. Pressing is clean clear and beautiful. This is NOT ever going to be for sale.
