The vocals are incredibly muffled on this version. I would expect it to even sound better over fm radio.
-
Not sure if it's just the vinyl master here or what, but anybody else experiencing the vocals being relatively buried and the hard panned stuff feeling a bit loud in comparison? Can't say I noticed in on headphones when streaming..
-
I have this, the translucent orange, and the red/black. This copy sounds good. LP2 does have some noise between tracks and on the run in/out, but I don't have any true nonfill or pops during the songs themselves. I think the orange sounds best, followed by this, then red/black

The only flaw I have is the very end of side 3 has a few loud pops. Other than that, loud, bright and dynamic. Music ain’t too bad either. Cast Iron Skillet… Jesus what a story.
-
My copy is good . Disc 1 has a slight warp that`s a little noticeable on side 2 but does not affect play at all . As far as audio goes, I really can`t find anything wrong.
-
Weirdest thing; my album is flawless except for Side 3. The entire side is distorted from start to finish, yet all other sides sounds clear and perfect. Its not non fill but It’s like it’s cut too hot where the bass and vocals are bloated to the point of distortion. How does that even happen?! Bummer because otherwise the pressing is great. And the material is stellar!

Edited one year agoI’ve got a dozen or so “ripping” sounds (non-fill?) in the left channel on side A that are pretty distracting. It’s especially noticeable during Strawberry Woman. Otherwise, this is a nice sounding pressing.
-
Ok sounding pressing. Really nicely packaged LP. Some surface noise and pops. Initially thought it sounded great but I’ve edited this review as after a week as i find it a bit disappointing (pressing/mix only - music is great). Some great songs on this record though.
