Like a lot of people, Centerfold was my only exposure to this band prior to purchasing this record. I know now that the earlier efforts are the most celebrated by fans, but this is a fun, energetic record with good hooks. There's not much to dislike here.
Likewise to the pressing quality. My copy has clearly been well cared for and runs quiet with dynamic separation. It's from the early 80s, well before audiophile was a word in the common lexicon, and I won't say it's mind blowing. But like the music itself, there's not much to dislike here if you get a clean copy. I picked mine up for 5 dollars on a buy one get one sale, so at two fifty, I'd call it money well spent.
