Lot of you are laughing at those who bought the first press turquoise about it losing value because months later it was repressed. But what you fail to see is this version has different mixes to all the newer represses that I doubt will ever be pressed again. This makes this version very unique indeed! -
Now I can be happy to have completely missed the first pressing of this version.
I was able to calmly order the 2023 vinyl version (which I find better than the 2022 vinyl version) ciao scalpers!

So glad I own this considering how much it’s going for which frankly is silly but hey ho!
The mix of this is a little disappointing compared to the streaming mix. I cannot for the life of me understand why isadora’s vocals aren’t on her mothers house!
Overall it’s a beautifully packaged album as always is the case with her albums! -
I bought the supposed 2023 Repress with new mixes to some of the tracks, through Björk’s website on February, 11th! It is said this Repress to be out on March 17th…
But I received today, February 15th! It’s absolutely equal to the others referring to gatefold…. Or blue round sticker!
No 2023 mentioned!
The only new to this new edition - so it seems - is a sticker with the barcode 5016958102500!
I need OLI to confirm this is in fact the 2023 Repress and why is available a month before as stated… -

This is the version I've got, simply because it's the version my local indie record store managed to get. Can anyone tell me why this one is selling for so much more than the other variants? Is it more limited or something? It sounds great, but that's hardly enough to justify the crazy prices, I'd have thought!

lovely glossy gatefold sleeve design and high quality visuals- some slight surface noise throughout but overall a well mastered pressing -
Edited 2 years agoGreat pressing of an otherworldly album!
Very dynamic with hard-hitting bass and crispy highs. The surface noise is very low, however there is a bit of pops and clicks throughout, and at a few parts the vocals are just a tiny bit distorted in the highs. Side D also has some weird constant noise on the right channel repeating every revelation, which I only noticed with headphones. These things sadly knock out one star, but don't let that fool you - it's a damn near perfect pressing!
The turquoise color is, like the burgundy color, a little bit see-through-isch, and is absolutely gorgeous.
Recommended without a doubt!
