My first collection of Studio One material from the Soul Jazz label, and it won't be the last. This one definitely focuses on the classics, some the best known songs/artists from the vast Studio One catalog are present and ed for, but there's so much out there, it's really just the tip of the iceberg. I'm pleased with this pressing. Sound quality is solid throughout, and the wax is flat and quiet. My copy was purchased new and plays nice and clean with no noticeable surface noise. -

Sounds fine. Tunes are great. Especially for colored vinyl. Didn't receive the promised DL code with mine, not that that is a big deal to me. -
Edited 2 years agoPressing sounds fantastic! Studio One releases are often perfect and this is no exception; deep, heavy bass and great dynamics. Vinyl is flat, dead silent, and flawless! This is an amazing set of songs and should be in any reggae/dub fan’s collection. Highly recommended!
