Cryptic northerly soundscapes resonate and sparkle. No issues with or without HDCD compatible player. -
Edited 7 years agoAs great as the music on this album is, the Master is awful. The clipping present all over this album was a total distraction that constantly pulls you away from the music, even in a good HDCD player. I even tried decoding the album using my computer, and when I set the levels of the original rip and the decoded version to the same level and inverted the phase, there was total destructive interference. This tells me that HDCD decoding is completely irrelevant. Buy a different version of this album, not this one.
