Edited 18 years agoHowever you define this production in of genre or style, it is one of a select number that somehow seem to transcend time, that sound as fresh in the present as they did when they were released. Its kaleidoscope of sounds, including an abundance of sweeping atmospheric synths, a funky bassline foundation and delightfully distinctive brass sections make this production something of an electronic music masterpiece. The best version of this production on this CD is ‘Pacific State (Origin)’, which adds some subtle yet effective keys on top of the original track and concludes with some key changes on the synths that get the track moving at the beginning. A production that you have probably heard many times yet may never have known the name of, its myriad of sounds means that it is highly appealing to electronic dance music fans across a wide range of genres. Essential listening.
