-
Great album, received the records with no scratches or nicks, very happy about the quality and condition of the records.
-
I would imagine the cardboard packaging damages the record or at very least leaves some residue in the grooves that makes for a very noisy listen even after a wash.
-
Edited 4 years agoAverage press. I had to clean the record real good before I liked it. Not sure why I would need to do this with a brand new record, but it eliminated the pops heard previously.
-
Edited 4 years agoAfter giving up on the terrible quality clear vinyl pressing I picked this one up last weekend for $60 USD at my local indie record store. I'm a collector and use a Hannl RCM to clean every record before re-sleeving it in a MoFi sleeve. I was hoping this pressing would be cleaner than the nearly un-listenable clear vinyl version. It is only slightly better. Still loaded with ticks, pops, and the occasional burst of no-fill distortion. The vinyl also showed defects from rough handling on both disks. Some of this was also audible. Overall this is a disappointing pressing.
-
Anyone have this in the Neon Yellow with the packaging labelled DH00754 but the vinyl etched with DH00753 instead?
-
Edited 5 years agoThis pressing sounds very clean for a 140g coloured vinyl. My side A skipped once but that might just be my table and not the record itself.
The sleeve attracts dust and hair really quickly so if you have animals I recommend putting it in another sleeve immediately. -
Fantastic album, but the packaging really damages the records.. I'm sure there must be another way to create environmentally friendly packaging without using cardboard sleeves.
Other than that, great!
