Edited 6 months agoClean remaster, though slightly bright. Bottom-end could have done with more presence. Pressing is quiet and fiat, and artwork is true to the original. Solid reissue if you want an up to date pressing with minimal noise.

A very good time with this record, the only downside is that it tends to distort more as you approach the center.. still very recommended !

Repro of the original inner picture sleeves with studio-info etc. would have been nice. Decent poly-lined sleeve would have been nice either. I know it's all about the "sound".... but it's not .. at least not for somebody who has been buying records since the late 60's. The beauty of vinyl is in the intrinsic tactile nature of the medium. Enjoying the tune while browsing the liner notes or reading the lyrics or taking in the sleeve artwork is part and parcel of the experience
Apart from that -- Vinyl sounds AbFab - nice one ( insert whoever@ Abbey Road ) .! -

Edited 5 years agoSuperb remastered job on this one. Dynamic and open sound. The percussion really stands out and brings the music alive. Buy without hesitation. However my only gripe is they went to all the trouble of remastering and put the record in a thick paper sleeve. It leaves marks on the record. I put mine in a poly sleeve straight away to protect the record.
