This pressing sounds so freaking good, just got it today in my local record store. Was happy to find it in their rarities bin

Who’s still spinning this in 2024?!! I purchased mine from eBay for I-don’t--how-much back in 2018?19? I had no idea it was the highly sought after release. What I would have paid at the time wouldn’t have reflected that. Maybe I got lucky?? Anyhow, all the tracks play perfectly at reasonably loud volumes through my serviced Sansui 5000x into JBL L100 Century’s…. Except the Pantera track, which gets my woofers a little “farty”. A simple adjustment to my BASS TREBLE pots fixed it instantly. I wouldn’t say it’s an issue with the vinyl. Most likely my setup. Afterall, it IS being used as a catchall for everything from RAGE to Japanese Jazz to Acid Bath to the POLICE, hip hop, funk, etc. A little color tweak is expected.

Edited 4 years agoI see a lot of comments about the availability of this, but how does it sound? My copy has been pre-ordered from a shop in Chicago (already sold out) and will ship in October.

If it would have been released in 1994 as a vinyl record, when the film has started in the movies, I would have bought it, but it only has been released as a CD, the soundtrack 6 the film music as well, I have never heard from a vinyl release, but now I have to say, although I collect more vinyl than CDs, for me it´s more important to have the original CDs than the vinyl re-issures!
