Edited 3 years agoDisappointing pressing. Noisy vinyl all around, tons of surface noise, crackle after a few wet cleans. Low quality wax, (my copy has jagged serrated edges), vocal sibilance all over the place (Hard Piano being the worst). For the most part I enjoyed the sonics of the music, think Nino-Hernes did an irable job with the cut (especially the low end, which is super rich and fat the way it should be for this album). But it's the pressing issues that really brings it down, at least with my copy. Much lower quality than the other GOOD Music Wyoming releases on vinyl. Which is unfortunate because this is my favorite. A modern classic for me personally.
At the very least this should have been pressed at RTI like the others, but it's fairly obvious here that they just didn't think there would be a big enough market for this on vinyl so it got the short end with MRP/GZ. I wouldn't mind a complete new reissue. -
It may be morbid, but I bought this to have the album artwork full size. That’s Whitney Houston’s hotel room with drug paraphernalia -
Excellent record, Pusha and Ye both at the top of their game. Pressing sounds good and is nice to have on heavyweight vinyl. Only thing that sucks is that they put Come Back Baby and Santeria on different sides of the record, so you don't get to experience the sweet beat switch between the two, which is a highlight moment of the album imo. This thing is 21 min they could have easily moved Come Back Baby to the B side with Santeria.

Bass might be a little boomy but I think this album is MEANT TO BE BOOMY ALL HAIL THE KING -
Really great pressing. Definitely better than the digital file I was listening to. The mastering suits the music perfectly (10 minutes per side definitely helps) and I’m hearing no surface noise at all. The minimal packaging is killer too!
