Notes
144-page white or red clothbound, full-color book of illustrations with two enclosed compact-discs of recordings made from the 1910s to the 1950s and previously issued on 78rpm records.
"The compact discs included with this collection represent a small fraction of the music we have found and a minuscule fraction of the amazing music recorded for issue at 78rpm. Dates are approximate and are often hard to determine as many songs were re-issued by different labels over the years, occasionally using pseudonyms for the artists. Many traditional recordings were considered simple examples of primitive music and hence the name of the artist is difficult or impossible to determine."
Printed material from the collections of Robert Millis & Jeffery Taylor, also from Airforms and Alan Bishop archives.
