    This is my first comment on discogs - utterly silly :). A friend of mine who interviewed vocalist Marian Gold got to know that the "special dance version" is how Alphaville originally wrote the song, but then they changed it to a ballad. That's why the vocal is so "fast".

      What A brilliant remix.
      Everyone who's still don't know the 12" version, is gonna have a little surprise:
      It's a total new recording of the playback and rhythm section, in doubled speed (138 BPM), while they kept the original vocal recording, of the familar version.. That turned this song, from a slow an dramatic hit into a dance-pop tune. Sounds Great!
