Yesterday I did an A vs B of the 45rpm vinyl in this box set vs the 45rpm MFSL pressing.
If anything the box set is a bit better which is very high praise indeed.
How about that? Stunning. -
Excellent re-issue and bonus tracks. Would have been great to have an extended mix of "Mammagamma"... -
Bought this as I have virtually everything Parsons for the vinyl. And to me it sounds pretty awesome. The hardest part to play great is and always will be is the opener Sirius because of the deep bass line. Once you get past that the album opens up and sounds fantastic. Silence and I floored me with the orchestral arrangements. Comes with the remastered cd and 2 cds of so what bonus material IMO and the blue ray surround. Vinyl can't be bought separate but the blue ray still can be had reasonably. Box is very handsome and sturdy too replicating the original gold foil cover. A lot of folks will complain cause you can't get the lps separately but that's just the marketing ploy and the reason I waited so long to purchase it. Then discogs seller Chris Jones the Great came along and the deal was finalized.

The Super Deluxe book is impressive with nice vintage pics of tapes and 45s but the resolution is too low on the Discogs to read well on line ...need to dig out the actual book. I wish the resolution of the many of the pic s was higher. Tiny CD booklets are hard to read and easier on line if scanned and ed at higher rez. -
