Holy Noise – Organoised Crime

the unknown: psycho / santa ana >> wicked music, two man (..) but this man is teknical very high-performance, musically very psycho acoustic nuff said

I think the track "Holy Noise" was only available on this lp as the rest of the tracks were taken from their singles

CLASSIC oldskool Belgian techno 1991 album from the Dutch producers Paul Elstak and his team. The dark, energetic, techno stabbed, sampled based, sound of 1991 is more revelant here than anywhere else, with high quality, multi layered techno masterpieces. Really shame that they went Gabber after 1992, instead of continuing making such incredible tracks like here.

The sound of Rotterdam that I love, there is a particular dark atmosphere in this album.
The "holy" time where the issue was not to put the hardest kickdrum like it was a bit later the case in the gabber scene.What is important here is the sampling sound research and structures (inspired by Public Enemy) and the dark atmosphere.
"Psycho" is based upon samples from the movie "Psycho" with an original variations of scream samples and breakbeats.
"House orgasm" very groovy, with the help of Peter Slaghuis (check out this deeeep bass!).
"The noise" very effective in the vein of Belgian hardcore like Quadrophonia but with a typical weird Dutch ambience.
I the day I bought it in late 1991, listening every track with the heavy sound of the import record shop, impressive !
