Speak of the Devil is a live album by English heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. The album consists entirely of renditions of songs originally recorded by Osbourne's previous band Black Sabbath. It was released on 27 November 1982.
The album was entitled Talk of the Devil in the UK, that being the more commonly expressed idiom there.
In the UK, it was the second of four Osbourne albums to attain Silver certification (60,000 units sold) by the British Phonographic Industry, achieving this in January 1983

Edited 4 months agoI bought this disk from impseqrecs, in February 2023, after a couple of failed attempts and years of not even seeing it. Beyond the commercial details and possible criticism, even from Ozzy himself, it was an album that accompanied many of the 80-90 generation, in this part of the world. My disc has a Radio Sticker in one of the corners, which gives it a relic feel that makes the experience more entertaining. Musical greetings from Chile! -
A killer set and amazing effort considering the conditions and situation which Ozzy found himself in after Randy’s ing. Jake Blades kills it! Is the Tony Iommi, no, but he makes these songs his own without stomping on the Black Sabbath legacy.
This is a dynamic remaster that can be played unapologetically LOUD!!!

It would be interesting to know where this template/recording comes from. Even though the tracklist is the same, there are differences from the official release. For example, the “Ozzy, Ozzy” calls at the beginning of side A are missing and the swearing can still be heard clearly. The vocals are definitely the re-recorded ones. An early uncensored version of the official release?
It would be nice if someone could clarify/explain this if possible. -

The dynamic range of every track on this CD is 11... is this a Spinal Tap joke by the mastering engineers? -
I have a promo copy of this pressing. Stamped in gold on rear top right corner with the number 4120 above promo stamp. Can anyone shed any more light on this?
