Edited one month agoI was afraid about the quality of this pressing, I had bad experiences with some DS records reissues (and after reading comments here) but my records are pretty clean, some little subtle noisy parts but not a big deal, the mastering is very good, I am even surprised (or lucky 🙏)

If you can find a copy without pressing defects, which sadly seem to blight so many RSD releases, especially those on white vinyl (why!?) you'll be rewarded with an exceptional sounding record.
Already vying with my original vinyl release of Gone to Earth as my favourite Sylvian recording.
I love the sequencing of side A and B. I'm not the biggest fan of Sylvian's later more abstract songs, so to hear some of the more 'difficult' tracks nestled amongst familiar favourites, including a new (to me) version of Sylvian and Fripp's Wave, was a joy, and is prompting me to explore some of the later work again.
A new Camphor CD set with all this and more would be very welcome. -

My copy of this is noisy, with pops and crackles, especially notable on the quieter tracks. The vinyl is also not completely flat. Would be keen to know if others have experienced similar, or whether I have a substandard copy.

Anyone else notice the songs from gone to earth are slight different? They are higher pitched and sped up.
